Connect ActiveCampaign

Marketing automation and CRM platform — any paid plan works

1. Log in to your ActiveCampaign account
2. Go to Settings → Developer
3. You'll see two values:

   API URL: https://youraccountname.api-us1.com

   API Key: a long alphanumeric string

4. Copy both values — you'll paste them into separate fields in Step 3

1. In ActiveCampaign, go to Contacts → Tags
2. Click Add a Tag and create summary_form
3. Optionally, go to Contacts → Lists and create a list for QuickSum leads

1. Open your QuickSum.AI dashboard
2. Go to Global API Settings in the sidebar
3. In the CRM Integration section, select ActiveCampaign from the CRM Provider dropdown
4. In the API URL field, paste your ActiveCampaign API URL
   Find it in: ActiveCampaign → Settings → Developer → URL
5. In the API Key field, paste your ActiveCampaign API Key
   Find it in: ActiveCampaign → Settings → Developer → Key
6. Click Test — verify you see ✅ Valid
7. Click Save API Keys

1. Go to Email and CRM Integration in the sidebar
2. Select your domain from the top bar
3. In the CRM Configuration section, click the refresh icon (🔄) to sync your Tags and Lists from ActiveCampaign
4. Check the box next to summary_form and select your List if applicable

1. Go to any page with your QuickSum widget embedded
2. Submit a test email through the widget
3. Check your ActiveCampaign account under Contacts — the test contact should appear with the summary_form tag
4. If the contact appears correctly — you're done! ✅

❌ "Invalid API Key" error

Double-check that you pasted each value into the correct field — API URL goes in the URL field, API Key goes in the Key field. Make sure the URL includes https:// at the start and there are no trailing spaces in either field.

❌ "Connection refused" or timeout error

Verify the API URL matches your account's data center. If your account is at mycompany.activehosted.com, your API URL should be https://mycompany.api-us1.com. Check Settings → Developer for the exact URL.

❌ Tags or Lists not syncing

Click the refresh icon (🔄) to re-sync. Tags and Lists must be created in ActiveCampaign first. QuickSum reads them from your account — it doesn't create them.

❌ Test contact not appearing

Wait 30 seconds and refresh your ActiveCampaign contacts. If the contact still doesn't show, check that the email isn't bounced or unsubscribed in ActiveCampaign — these statuses block API additions.
